Deposit and Payments

To secure your booking with J2 Event Audio, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit confirms your event date and ensures our team can begin preparations to deliver a top-tier experience tailored to your needs.

The deposit will be applied toward your total event cost, with the remaining balance due prior to your event date. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable, as it reserves your date and covers initial planning efforts.

At J2 Event Audio, we strive to make the booking process as seamless and stress-free as possible, including offering flexible payment options to suit your preferences. We understand that every client has their own preferred method of handling payments, which is why we accept a variety of options to make things convenient for you.

For those who prefer mobile payment apps, we accept Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle, providing a quick and easy way to send payments securely. These methods allow for instant transfers, ensuring that your deposit and final payments are processed without delay. If you prefer using a credit or debit card, we offer invoicing through Square, allowing you to make secure payments online at your convenience. Square also provides an option for installment payments if needed, making it even easier to fit your event into your budget.

No matter which method you choose, we ensure a secure and transparent payment process. Once your payment is received, we provide a confirmation receipt for your records. Our goal is to make everything as simple as possible so you can focus on planning your big day with confidence.   • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to officially secure your event date.

  • The deposit will be applied toward your total event balance.

  • Your event is not considered booked until the deposit has been received and confirmed.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event date will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable 50% deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will forfeit the deposit and any additional payments made may be non-refundable, depending on the preparations already completed.

  • If you need to reschedule your event, we will do our best to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.

  • A $150 rescheduling fee will apply to all date changes.

  • If we are unable to accommodate your new date, the event will be considered a cancellation, and the cancellation policy will apply.

Privacy Policy

Standard Contract

J2 Event Audio - Service Agreement

Welcome to J2 Event Audio! We are committed to providing professional DJ and event services tailored to your needs. Please review the following terms and conditions before booking your event.

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.

  • The deposit will be applied toward the total event cost.

  • Full payment is due by the agreed-upon date before the event.

  • Payments can be made via Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, or through an invoice via Square.

  • Your event is considered booked only after the deposit has been received and confirmed.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event date will receive a refund of any additional payments made, minus the $500 deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will forfeit the deposit, and additional payments may be non-refundable depending on event preparations.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 14 days prior to the event.

  • A $150 rescheduling fee applies to all date changes.

  • If J2 Event Audio cannot accommodate the new date, the event will be considered canceled, and the cancellation policy will apply.

3. Event Details & Requirements

  • The client is responsible for providing accurate event details, including venue access, timeline, and special requests at least 7 days before the event.

  • J2 Event Audio provides its own 10x10 covered space for outdoor events, if necessary.

  • The venue must provide sufficient electrical outlets within 40 feet of the setup location.

  • Any venue restrictions (e.g., noise limits, end times) must be communicated before booking.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring the event space is safe and accessible for setup and breakdown.

4. Music & Special Requests

  • Clients may provide a must-play and do-not-play song list at least 7 days before the event.

  • While we make every effort to honor song requests, availability and compatibility will be considered.

  • J2 Event Audio reserves the right to refuse to play music that violates venue policies or legal restrictions.

5. Liability & Service Guarantee

  • J2 Event Audio carries liability insurance for all events.

  • We are not responsible for venue-related technical issues, power failures, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

  • In the unlikely event that J2 Event Audio is unable to perform due to an emergency, a full refund including the deposit will be issued.

  • The client assumes responsibility for any damage to J2 Event Audio’s equipment caused by event attendees.

6. Final Agreement
